GETTING AROUND IN ASHINGTON

Located on the A24, which runs north to Horsham and south to Worthing, Ashington is also close to the A27, the South’s east-to-west coastal road. The nearest train station is in Horsham, which can be reached by car in less than 20 minutes. From there, trains depart every 23 minutes for London Victoria. The journey takes approximately 80 minutes.

A SHORT HISTORY OF ASHINGTON

Ashington’s ancient parish church was dedicated to two saints, Peter and Paul. The village has won the Calor Village of the Year Southern Region competition in 2003 and currently has a population of around 2,500.
