GETTING AROUND IN WATERLOOVILLE

Located within a short distance of the A3, A27 and A31, property in Waterlooville boasts excellent transport links. This allows for easy travel in all directions and quick access to the New Forest, South Coast beaches and London. The town’s nearest train stations are Havant and Petersfield. While the former runs a train to Gatwick every 30 minutes, the latter operates a direct service to Waterloo every 20 minutes. This journey takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.

A SHORT HISTORY OF WATERLOOVILLE

Waterlooville is thought to have got its name from the victorious soldiers returning from the Battle of Waterloo who stopped at a local pub to celebrate. Many of the soldiers are said to have settled in the area afterwards. With a relatively short history, the town celebrated its 200th anniversary with the Waterlooville 200 Festival in 2015.
