What the owner says

We have loved living in this chalet bungalow and have been so lucky to live in such a great location. When we bought it, my late husband saw the great potential and has really made it into a loving home. It was originally 3 bedrooms but we wanted to make use of having a large living area but this can easily be put back if needed. The converted garage has been fantastic and allowed us to run a business from it in the past and most recently our daughter has had it as a large bedroom so the choice is yours with what you do. It's been a joy to sit out in the front garden and watch over the fish pond and we know the new owners will love living here.

Property details

If you are looking for somewhere that you can put your own stamp on and really make your own then look no further. You will be excited by this charming chalet bungalow and enjoy visualising what your future home could be like.

If you love to entertain and have guests round then the kitchen is just the place to get out those recipe books and cook up a storm and being close to the dining room, which has ample room for a dining table and chairs, means you won't be too far from the fun. When it's time to unwind, head to the spacious lounge where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of your surroundings.

There are two bedrooms in the bungalow which are both of a good size and bedroom 1 benefits from an en-suite shower room so make sure to keep this room for yourself! A converted garage, supplied with gas central heating and double glazing, makes an excellent potential third bedroom or if you work from home it makes an ideal office space. The bathroom is the place to go for that long hot soak at the end of a hard day.

The front garden has a decking area and a lovely fish pond and at the rear there is a pretty courtyard garden.

You are spoilt for parking as the driveway has space for at least three cars and also a small garage which makes a fantastic workshop!

Set in the beautiful village of Brockham, where there is a real community feel, and just a short walk from the green you will love the location. Viewings are strongly advised so call now to book a viewing.

Steeped in history and literature Dorking was the birthplace of legendary actor Laurence Olivier, who lived in Wathen Road, and was home to Daniel Defoe. The author of Robinson Crusoe was educated at the Rev. James Fisher's boarding school in Pixham Lane. As an old market town it is renowned for its antique shops with West Street being the heart of the local antique trade. There is still a market held in the town every Friday in St. Martins Walk. Contemporary arts on offer include a cinema and theatre and there is also a Leisure Centre to cater for your fitness needs. The local schools offer another attraction to the area for parents, with the 'Ofsted Outstanding' St.Pauls primary and The Ashcombe secondary school, which Ofsted praised for its 'exceptional pastoral care'.
