What the owner says

We bought this park home around 20 years ago to be closer to our daughter.

I liked the fact it is located at the end of a cul de sac and the size and space that it offered as it was larger than many others we viewed. In the last 5 years I have had a new boiler, bathroom and shower room installed.

My daughter has now moved so I am looking to buy a retirement flat closer to where she now lives.

We have absolutely loved living on picturesque Box Hill and hope the new owners enjoy it as much as we did!

Property details

This two bedroom park home is situated on a quiet site on Box Hill and is for over 50s only so perfect for retirees and downsizers alike.

With good size lounge and dining areas, there is plenty of room to entertain friends and family in style. With an abundance of light pouring in the lounge area you can really relax and unwind with a good book, put your feet up whilst watching the television or simply watch the world go by. When it's time for dinner, the chef of the house will be pleasantly surprised with the size of the kitchen and you also have the added bonus of a utility room.

Bedroom 1 has the luxury of an en-suite bathroom. Having two bedrooms there is plenty of space for your guests to stay the night and a modern shower room makes light work of getting ready in the mornings!

Having its own small low maintenance garden means you still have your own private outdoor space and with a garage and parking there is somewhere safe for your car. This site has a real sense of community with a shop and amenities close by, this is definitely one to view.

Steeped in history and literature Dorking was the birthplace of legendary actor Laurence Olivier, who lived in Wathen Road, and was home to Daniel Defoe. The author of Robinson Crusoe was educated at the Rev. James Fisher's boarding school in Pixham Lane. As an old market town it is renowned for its antique shops with West Street being the heart of the local antique trade. There is still a market held in the town every Friday in St. Martins Walk. Contemporary arts on offer include a cinema and theatre and there is also a Leisure Centre to cater for your fitness needs. The local schools offer another attraction to the area for parents, with the 'Ofsted Outstanding' St.Pauls primary and The Ashcombe secondary school, which Ofsted praised for its 'exceptional pastoral care'.
