Having lived in Brighton for a while we knew the area we wanted to be in, when we were looking to buy 4 years ago. The reason we were set on this area was because we wanted to have somewhere quiet and peaceful but also within easy access of the city for weekends and the A23 for work. Tower Gate not only offered this but the added bonus of a parking space, which is like gold dust in Brighton now. What’s more is that there is plenty of unallocated parking for friends and family to use when visiting. This little close is very quiet, family friendly and also within catchment areas for good local nurseries and schools. Since living here, we have made some changes to modernise the flat and added in some storage, a hidden desk area etc to maximise the space.

You have two beautiful parks close by – Preston Park and Blakers Park with their recreational facilities, a cycling track, bowling green, playground areas and cafes. They both have fun events taking place over the summer months.

This tranquil residential location is deceptively close to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. You can be at Brighton’s famous seafront enjoying an ice-cream and a stroll along the Pier in a 30-minute walk. The shopping in the Laines and Churchill square are also close to hand.

Within walking distance there are a handful of great pubs serving good food. A firm local favourite being the Crown and Anchor. There are plenty of coffee shops and individual shops at Fiveways including a great butchers, green grocers and bakeries.

Commuters will be pleased to read that there are three train stations within walking distance. Preston Park Station being to closest. The A27/A23 are also both within easy reach.
