We had lived in Horsham for a number of years and were looking towards our retirement. We decided to downsize from our family home, searching for a smaller property that would be easy to look after.

We were quite keen to stay local to Horsham and were particularly attracted to Warnham by that idyllic village lifestyle. So Stanford Orchard was perfect for us, located right in the heart of the village, with a bus stop just around the corner that can get you into town in no time as all. The property was also great size, two double bedrooms and a nice size lounge and kitchen, so we didn’t have to downsize too much !

Warnham is an idyllic village to enjoy your retirement and just a short bus ride from Horsham Town Centre. The beautiful St Margaret’s Church along with The Grebe and The Sussex Oak pubs form the heart of the community who all benefit from the local corner shop and the highly regarded family butchers. It’s a quiet and peaceful village surrounded by lovely countryside that you can go and explore along numerous public footpaths when the mood takes you and the weather allows.
