What the owner says

The house is situated in a peaceful and safe location – it’s one of only a few locations where it is literally impossible to see any passing traffic. Backing onto the reservoir it is both scenic and secure, so this really is the place to get away from it all. We love living here and will genuinely miss being so close to the city centre. The house is free flowing and has a very open feel. It is also easily accessible for wheelchair users too. The morning routines are a lot less stressful with the second bathroom. It’s been a great home but the time has now come for us to move on, all be it tinged with a little sadness.

Property details

Nestled discreetly at the end of a Victorian terrace is this hidden Hanover gem.

Clean and modern yet quirky, this is one of only seven homes in this small development built in 2005 and was the show home, so you'll be assured of the best plot.

Walking through the entrance, you step straight into another world as you stroll through the quaint communal gardens to reach your front door. Another bonus is the private parking space that also comes with this house.

The open plan lounge and kitchen areas are bright and welcoming with doors opening out to a small courtyard which is a real sun trap and ideal for firing a barbecue or just topping up the vitamin D.

A clever downstairs shower room, once just a cloakroom, adds a modern touch while the upstairs bedrooms are served by a good size family bathroom.

There’s no work required here – it is contemporary and modern throughout with some quality touches like laminate flooring and integrated appliances.

The location may be quiet but you’re not far away from all the action either – local pubs, restaurants, shops and bus routes are all close by so you really do have the best of both worlds.

Looking for an independent estate agent and letting agent that covers Hanover and beyond? Our local Cubitt & West office is just one of a network of ten offices covering Brighton and is situated on Lewes Road.

Our marketing strategy at Lewes Road will give you that necessary edge when you are selling your home. Designed to make your life as easy as possible, our Open House events will help give you the competitive edge to ensure you get the best price for your home and you don't even have to be there!

We cover Hanover, Bevendean, Moulsecoomb and all areas around Lewes Road, Coombe Road and Bear Road. Hanover is always popular with couples and includes a mixture of period houses and flats and is generally the most expensive area. Lewes Road, Coombe Road and Bear Road areas also contain mostly period properties and are popular with buy to let investors. Bevendean and Moulsecoomb are more attractive to families with generally larger houses and less flats.

The Lewes Road team is dedicated to providing the best possible customer service and have received many testimonials from happy customers who we have helped with their dream move!
