What the owner says

My mother bought this house from new in 2007. She loved the convenient location being so close to the town, the fact it had a downstairs cloakroom, a wide staircase and a balcony where she had an array of plant pots.

It is a real sun trap and she really enjoyed the fact she could sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. When the weather turned cold the house was always so snug and warm. Mum has now moved out so we have just had the house redecorated and are selling with no chain.

Property details

If you're looking for a two bedroom house in a central location with outside space then this pretty mews style end of terrace is definitely one to view. Just a short walk from Dorking High Street and stations you couldn't ask for a better location. Newly redecorated you can simply move in and just unpack your bags!

The good size lounge/diner is perfect for watching TV or lazing on the sofa with a good book. Being open to the kitchen it is perfect if you enjoy entertaining and if you have guests over for dinner as you won't miss out on any of the conversation.

Often in a 2 bedroom house you enter from the front door straight into the lounge so the spacious hallway and downstairs cloakroom is a real bonus. Plus there is useful storage space in the under stairs cupboard.

Upstairs, both bedrooms are double in size and the good size modern bathroom with bath and separate shower is the perfect place for a wake up blast in the morning or a leisurely soak at the end of the day.

The balcony off bedroom 1 is the ideal spot to soak up the sun and if you are green fingered offers plenty of space for your potted plants.

With no chain this house is well worth viewing so give us a call today!

Steeped in history and literature Dorking was the birthplace of legendary actor Laurence Olivier, who lived in Wathen Road, and was home to Daniel Defoe. The author of Robinson Crusoe was educated at the Rev. James Fisher's boarding school in Pixham Lane. As an old market town it is renowned for its antique shops with West Street being the heart of the local antique trade. There is still a market held in the town every Friday in St. Martins Walk. Contemporary arts on offer include a cinema and theatre and there is also a Leisure Centre to cater for your fitness needs. The local schools offer another attraction to the area for parents, with the 'Ofsted Outstanding' St.Pauls primary and The Ashcombe secondary school, which Ofsted praised for its 'exceptional pastoral care'.
