We were looking to downsize from our large house in the West Country. We had family in Horsham and wanted to be near them, but not directly on their door step so we started to look at the villages that surround the town.

We were particularly drawn to both Slinfold and Rusper, as we found them both very charming, but it was this property that made up our minds for us in the end. From the very first moment we saw it we were very impressed, we loved the look of the building and the position within the village itself. Then as soon as we had walked into the living room our minds were made up.


Property details

This lovely home is set in the beautiful village of Slinfold which is located just a few miles west of the market town of Horsham. A conservation area, where community life still thrives around St Peters Church, The Red Lyon Pub, the village hall and the cricket club.

Believed to have been converted from an old barn the property has a character and charm that will impress even the most demanding of buyers. The double church doors that lead into the living room could tell a thousand stories of history if only they could talk. The beamed ceiling at 9 feet high does not enclose you whilst the four windows fill the room with light.
