We came across our home by chance after seeing an advert some 20 years ago, having lived on a private estate we were seeking and idyllic, rural position and the cottage was perfect.

It's been a lovely family home which has enabled us to raise our four children in a quiet, safe environment. Over the years we've modernised and made changes to suit our needs, generally maintaining and keeping our home in good condition.

One of our favourite additions was installing the log burner, it's simply fantastic and warms the whole house.

We've loved living here, but it's now time to downsize.
