I grew up in Shamley Green with my family and have spent my life here. I've never wanted to leave - it's such a lovely village with a great feeling of community - so I'm not moving far away from my current home.

My bungalow has been a great place to live. It's nice to be able to sit out in the garden without feeling overlooked and it's such a peaceful neighbourhood, especially as there's so little passing traffic.

I can easily stroll down to the village shop and the local pub which overlooks the cricket green - it really is a lovely place to live.
