What the owner says

It must say a lot about the popularity of our road when you see that the houses don't change hands very often. We have lived here ourselves for nearly 30 years so can vouch for the area! We certainly appreciate the tranquility of the setting, with no passing traffic to interfere with our enjoyment of living here - it was also very safe when our family was growing up. We love living so close to all the beautiful countryside and it's only a couple of minutes' walk to the Downs Link which gives us direct access to miles of paths through the fields and woodland where we can see a whole range of wildlife.

We've now decided to move nearer our family and leave our lovely home to the next lucky owners.

Property details

If you treasure the peace and quiet which comes with living at the end of a small cul-de-sac, yet you want easy access to all the shops, schools and amenities of a thriving village, look no further. This detached family home offers a large lounge/dining room and a conservatory which adds to the living space downstairs. The kitchen has a good range of units and work surfaces, providing the ideal place to create all your delicious meals for the family, and there's that all-important downstairs cloakroom. Unlike some three bedroom houses where the third bedroom is little more than a box room, there are three double bedrooms here so you won't be short on space upstairs. The bathroom has a shower over the bath so you have the choice of an invigorating shower in the morning or a long leisurely soak at the end of the day!

The landscaped garden catches the sun for much of the day, especially in the evening when you can sit outside and enjoy a well-earned drink on the patio. The current owners have divided the former garage into two, one part designed as a music room and one used as a store, although it would be simple to convert it back.

It's just a pleasant stroll to the bustling village centre which offers a great range of shops, restaurants and other amenities including a health centre, leisure centre, library, sports ground, arts centre and a good selection of schools. Guildford is within easy reach with its excellent shops and mainline station.
