What the owner says

We found this house whilst on a walk through Lewes and it proved to be just right for our three children and us, a distinct change from busy Brighton.

We have updated many aspects of the house and we have particularly enjoyed making the garden-

a quiet sunny haven.

We have loved living in the Pells area of Lewes, it is a great area with a strong community spirit and we felt very much welcomed from the day we moved in.

This is a great location, walking distance to schools, the town centre and for walks across the South Downs or along the river.

Property details

Sympathetically presented with a beautiful mix of the modern and period, maintaining the elegant feel of Victorian design, this three bedroom town house, in a quiet cul-de-sac, is a real gem.

Situated in the highly desirable Pells area of Lewes, with its open-air pool and access to country walks, this property appeals to both families and couples alike.

You are greeted by polished exposed floorboards and the decorative fireplace, the delicate wall colouring and high windows allow light to flood into the open plan living space, affording the present trend of sociable living.

From the kitchen, the rear door leads to a lovingly tended garden presented on two levels, with al fresco dining space, lighting and water feature.

Every detail has been carefully thought about from the stained-glass front door to the feature fireplaces.

Presented on three floors with the dual aspect master bedroom taking pride of place on the second floor complete with en suite, plus a study, there is little this attractive period property, indicative of Lewes and its history, doesn’t offer.
