What the owner says

We have thoroughly loved living in this house and have enjoyed everything it has to offer! A sunny garden was an absolute must for us and being a landscape designer I have enjoyed creating the garden of our dreams.

The downstairs space is perfect and the kitchen extension has given us so much more, it really is a pleasure to be cooking in the kitchen looking out onto the lovely views of green land.

The location has been more than convenient for us, set in a rural location yet still within a short walk to the village school, shop and pub. It has been a great place to bring up our son, a real family home. Now it is time for us to move on we hope the new buyers will love it just as much as we have.

Property details

If you're looking for a fantastic home that is full of character and charm surrounded by natural woodland and a variety of walking trails then look no further as this could be just what you have been searching for.

You will love parking up on the driveway after a busy day and walking into the hallway where you can take off you shoes and coat and get ready to unwind for the evening. The kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm from your favourite recipe books whilst the family catch up with each other around the table and there is ample worktop space and plenty of storage. The lounge is a great size and extremely cosy for those winter nights gathering round the fire place and with the adjoining family area there is lots of room to entertain. When you want to relax and have some me time then go upstairs and run yourself a hot bath and enjoy the peace and quiet. All three bedrooms are of a good size and there is even potential to go into the loft (STPP).

If entertaining is your thing or you are particularly green fingered then the garden is the absolute show stopper! With a lovely patio area that you walk onto from your kitchen, there is room to fire up the BBQ and dine al-fresco with family and friends; the downstairs WC means guests don't need to go upstairs too. With room for a green house or pots to grow your own on the patio, when you are mixing up the salad ensure it's your own fresh produce!

Newdigate is an extremely popular village so call now to book a viewing, this is a home not to be missed!

Steeped in history and literature Dorking was the birthplace of legendary actor Laurence Olivier, who lived in Wathen Road, and was home to Daniel Defoe. The author of Robinson Crusoe was educated at the Rev. James Fisher's boarding school in Pixham Lane. As an old market town it is renowned for its antique shops with West Street being the heart of the local antique trade. There is still a market held in the town every Friday in St. Martins Walk. Contemporary arts on offer include a cinema and theatre and there is also a Leisure Centre to cater for your fitness needs. The local schools offer another attraction to the area for parents, with the 'Ofsted Outstanding' St.Pauls primary and The Ashcombe secondary school, which Ofsted praised for its 'exceptional pastoral care'.
