Woodingdean is a growing village at the base of the South Downs that has expanded over the last 50 years. There is a brand new medical centre, library and a community centre where various clubs, exercise classes and more are held.
Woodingdean's transport links are excellent. There is a bus service into Brighton including the station. The No. 2 and 22 both run every 20 minutes, the No. 2 running from Rottingdean right through Brighton to Shoreham and Steyning. The 52 runs once every two hours through Woodingdean, Ovingdean then out on the coast road to Brighton Marina. There is also a small local station nearby at Falmer.
