What the owner says

We have enjoyed many great years in this house and will certainly be sorry to say goodbye. The property has provided us with quite simply, a wonderful family home. We particularly like the overall space and size which has offered really versatile living over the years, always required with the demands of a growing family. Also, there is greenery everywhere you look, a lovely quiet area with nice views and to not be overlooked is fantastic. We can walk to the town, local pubs/restaurants and are very close to popular schools.

Property details

A beautiful family home located within a popular area boasting stunning curb appeal. As you approach this detached home from the outside you will be pleasantly surprised by the external view, part tile hung with red tiles and part painted in off white gives the property country cottage character & charm. Further complimented by off road parking, side access to the rear garden and established hedgerows, plants and pretty borders.

Overall this house is a perfect example of generous living accommodation. On entry you will be warmly welcomed by a spacious hallway and downstairs cloakroom. The main family room is a wonderful space to enjoy relaxing in, the two large windows allow for plenty of natural light to flow through and brighten the room. One of the key features to the ground floor space is the excellent L shaped area that incorporates a further lounge and diner which in turn is connected through to the kitchen. Absolutely perfect for the demands of a growing family. Further benefits to the ground floor are French doors leading to the rear garden, storage space and a utility room.

The second floor consists of four well proportioned bedrooms and a family bathroom. A bonus feature is offered here with the stunning master bedroom boasting an en suite and a dressing area.

The rear garden is private and mainly laid to lawn. An internal viewing comes highly recommended.

Guides

Our local guide for East Grinstead

Looking for estate agents and letting agents in East Grinstead? Our local branch of Cubitt & West can be found in Whitehall Parade, near the cinema.

The historic town is situated on the very edge of High Weald, an area of outstanding natural beauty that stretches from Horsham to the west all the way to Hastings on the coast. You can enjoy the stunning country side and rolling hills as well as the benefits of an urban centre with exceptional transport links to London and the rest of the country.

Lying on the Greenwich Meridian, the town is steeped in history and boasts one of the longest continuous runs of 14th Century timber-frame buildings in the country. One notable building is Sackville College, where John Mason Neale wrote the popular Christmas carol 'Good King Wenceslas'. The High Street is home to the oldest parade of shops in the country where you'll find plenty of independent boutique shops.

Travelling from East Grinstead station will see you in Clapham Junction and Victoria in under an hour. Whilst the A22 and 23 will see you to the coast in similar time, with Brighton and Eastbourne within easy reach.
