What the owner says

We bought this house around 15 years ago as we were immediately struck by the amount of space on offer compared to other properties we had viewed and we loved the fact it was detached and had it's own garage. The area is perfect for family life with access to good schools, Dorking just a short distance away, an abundance of National Trust land close by and Surrey Hills on your doorstep. We have done quite a bit of work since we have been here - knocked through to make a kitchen/diner, fitted a new kitchen and bathroom, redecorated and had new flooring throughout and added the loft conversion. We are now looking to move up the property ladder but are planning to stay in the area as it really has become our home.

Property details

If you've been looking for a detached home with a garage that you can move straight into then this house is definitely one to view!

The good size lounge is the perfect place to relax on the sofa in front of the TV and the chef of the house will love the modern and sleek kitchen/diner where you can be cooking up a storm while your guests are seated at the dining table meaning you won't miss out on any of the conversation.

Upstairs over two floors there are three double bedrooms, a family bathroom with separate toilet as well as an ensuite wet room so plenty of space if you have a growing family. Keep the top floor to yourself though as you will love the underfloor heating in the ensuite! You also have the bonus of a small fourth bedroom which the current owners use a study.

In warmer weather enjoy al-fresco dining in the easy to maintain rear garden where there is ample room for your barbecue, table and chairs. With a covered passage and garage there is ample storage for your bicycles, motorbikes, and outdoor children's toys.

Looking for plenty of space and a home that is perfect for family living? This house is sure to tick all those boxes so make sure to arrange to view today.

Our professional photography and brochures give the very best first impression of your home. Our network of branches covers the whole of the South East and the South Coast. You can read stories from satisfied customers below to see what we can do for you.

Steeped in history and literature Dorking was the birthplace of legendary actor Laurence Olivier, who lived in Wathen Road, and was home to Daniel Defoe. The author of Robinson Crusoe was educated at the Rev. James Fisher's boarding school in Pixham Lane. As an old market town it is renowned for its antique shops with West Street being the heart of the local antique trade. There is still a market held in the town every Friday in St. Martins Walk. Contemporary arts on offer include a cinema and theatre and there is also a Leisure Centre to cater for your fitness needs. The local schools offer another attraction to the area for parents, with the 'Ofsted Outstanding' St.Pauls primary and The Ashcombe secondary school, which Ofsted praised for its 'exceptional pastoral care'.
