What the owner says

We knew this would be a lovely family home in a great location, and we have lived happily here for 24 years with our children and dogs. Ashtead Woods Road is a quiet, desirable private road and we couldn't wish for better friends and neighbours. The view opposite makes us feel like we are always in the countryside, but with every convenience close to hand. Close access to Ashtead Common has been ideal for dog walking. We will miss our large lovely gardens, the Ashtead community and village environment and are really sad to be moving on to a smaller home. We hope the next owners will be as happy here as we have been.

Guides

Our local guide for Leatherhead

Looking for estate agents and letting agents in Leatherhead? Our local branch of Cubitt & West is on North Street, between the Penny Black and the Southbank Cookshop.

Situated on the banks of the river Mole, Leatherhead is a picturesque ancient market town. Mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, it is likely much older with Anglo-Saxon origins. There are the remains of a late Romano-British road running through the area all the way to Guildford. This rich history is evident throughout the town in its buildings and architecture, including the enchanting The Running Horse pub which, dating back to 1406, is one of the oldest buildings in Leatherhead.

Conveniently located equidistant to Gatwick and Heathrow airports, and adjacent to the M25, the area is suitable for anyone who travels regularly or those who work at either airport. The station allows quick travel into both Victoria and Waterloo stations, so you can be in the centre of London in under an hour.

Our effective marketing gives you a considerable advantage when you are selling your property. Our professional photography and brochures give the very best first impression of your home. Our network of branches covers the whole of the South East and the South Coast. You can read stories from satisfied customers below to see what we can do for you.

Our Guide to Living in Leatherhead will give you a more detailed picture of what life is like in our town.
