At Mortgage Matters Direct we work hard to ensure that all our clients get the individual care and attention they need for a smooth mortgage application, however, we understand that on rare occasions things can go wrong! We have, therefore, created a thorough complaints procedure in order to ensure that you have someone to talk to if you experience any problems.
Should you have any cause for complaint, you should communicate this, in the first instance, to our Complaints Coordinator – through the advisor responsible for your mortgage and insurance arrangements – directly in writing, via phone or email to our registered office.
If you cannot settle your complaint with us we will help you to direct your complaint to the appropriate ombudsman.
Peace of Mind
We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The scheme ensures that you are protected and may be entitled to compensation (up to £48,000) from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.
We are also members of the Association of British Insurers (ABI), the independent association which establishes and regulates the selling code of practice for intermediaries advising clients on non-investment life assurance contracts. Mortgage Matters Direct adheres to the principles established within this code.
